Laurane® bone access needles offer fast and efficient penetration of normal and dense cortex and provide access for biopsy, radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, infusion, vertebroplasty and cementoplasty.
The Laurane® Vertebroplasty/Cementoplasty Introducer* provides access to the vertebral body and features Laurane’s patented sharp tip cannula, a trocar tip stylet, and a cement-compatible handle. It is available in 8 gauge, 13 cm length and 11 gauge, 10 cm length and is provided in boxes of five.
*Now with removable handle for simultaneous multi-level procedures
If the cortex is dense, the stylet may be replaced with a drill (item code “MV”) which is sold separately.
The drill is available by box of 2 units.
The Preston™ Bone Access Needle includes a hard bone introducer and a drill. The introducer has a non-insulated sharp tip cannula and a trocar tip stylet. It is advanced through the soft tissue until the bone is reached. If the cortex is dense, the stylet may be replaced with the drill.
If used in combination with other devices during ablation procedures (Radiofrequency, microwave ablation, cryotherapy…), special attention should be paid to sizes and compatibility with such ablation devices.
The Preston™ Bone Access Needle is 11 gauge and available in four lengths: 6.5 cm, 8.5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm.
Packaged and sold in boxes of one.
